The Daily Good: Day 27
.
Friends.
Each day I see people I know. Often I give hugs to those I know pretty well. Somewhere I heard you need 8 hugs a day. Who knows if you do or not, but 8 is a good number to strive to give each day.
Random texts sent and received through the day make me smile. What I’m realizing is that when I’m a better friend, then I have better friends. Today I sat in a meeting with a friend who I’ve know since 2000. Our friendship is comfortable and picks up where we leave it. Sometimes we talk weekly, sometimes it’s months before we catch up. But we are friends. Those friendships are important and rare. Hug a friend today. They are important.
There is good everywhere, we only need to pause long enough to see it.
This is a social experiment I’m doing. I’ve posted about 20 days so far something old. I’m going to keep doing this each day. You can find my previous stories, by clicking on my name at the top upper left hand corner and navigating to them.
If you are a working mom and feel like every day is a challenge and want to change it, I’d love to work together. I coach busy working moms to help them accomplish what matters most. We working moms can’t do it all, but we can do what matters most.
Here’s a short video on my coaching process.
Let’s work together.
