Routine. We all need it. Some fight it. Others embrace it.

However, for me, the routine of the weekend makes me happy. I love preparing for the week. The solace of making a list and then checking off what I’ve accomplished makes me smile.

Sometimes the good we need to look for isn’t outside of us, but it is us.

For now, I’ll go back to checking my list and preparing for tomorrow. Tomorrow is going to be a good day. I just know it.

There is good everywhere, we only need to pause long enough to see it.

This is a social experiment I’m doing. Each day for 30 days (not necessarily consecutive), I’m going to find something good and write about it. These posts won’t be lengthy. The point is that if we look hard enough, there’s something we can see good in each day.

You can find the previous days here:

— Day 1 — The morning high five.

— Day 2 — Friendship.

— Day 3 — Waterfall.

— Day 4 — The smile.

— Day 5 — A mother’s love.

— Day 6 — No room for books.

— Day 7 — The school receptionist.

— Day 8 — Funeral homes are weird.

— Day 9 — Five little blackbirds.

— Day 10 — Choosing to see the flowers.

— Day 11 — Allowing others to help.
